Eine Kurzmeldung, die ich neulich fand: Tomaten sollen länger frisch bleiben, wenn man sie mit der gesamten Pflanze (exkl. Wurzel) in einem kühlen Raum aufhängt. Eine Begründung gab es nicht dazu. Ob’s funktioniert kann ich nicht sagen. Ich schätze allerdings, dass vor allem das “kühle” Lagern den Reife- bzw. Matschprozess verlangsamt. Wer jetzt noch Tomaten am Strauch hat und das ausprobiert, darf hier gern drüber berichten.
